TOKYO TEN Book release party / art exhibition

Gallery Nucleus presents W+K Tokyo Lab's "TOKYO.TEN 42 VIEWS OF TOKYO." Never before seen outside of Japan, the show will showcase a visual remix of the nine previously released hybrid CD/DVD albums in addition to the works of 42 artists (graphic designers, illustrators, photographers) who have collaborated and participated in the TOKYO.TEN project.

W+K Tokyo Lab is a Tokyo-based record label and expressive outlet for renowned creative agency Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo.

TOKYO.点 (TEN): The character “点” is pronounced “ten” and it translates as a 'point'. A point is a moment in time, a dot, a location and a reason for doing something. The mission of TOKYO TEN was to bring new experiences that can only be created in Tokyo, using the power and energy of the city to attract the most innovative and creative artists from around the world. Visual artists were invited to make their own visual point about the power of Tokyo and Japanese culture while embracing the concept of hybrid, they created unique collaborations of music mixes, visuals, and other forms of creative expression through a DVD and CD.

Simply put, it is about good music, fresh visuals, and new concepts of creative expression
