This is a rescue dog I saw online, but I dressed him up a little. He is a Golden Retriever/Corgi cross. His tail is clearly too heavy for his body.
Black watercolor on 140 lb Arches hot press paper. I chose to paint a portrait of Taylor Lautner from the Twilight films. My watercolor technique is basic. Building light and thin washes, one on top of the other. I like to let watercolor react the way it was meant to, drips and all.
