About the Artist Amelicart:

Hi! I’m a Japan-based illustrator and visiting professor at Kyoto University of the Arts. I spent seven years studying illustration in San Francisco at the Academy of Art University, then worked as an in-house illustrator at a major company in Tokyo before going independent. These days, I create art for games, animation, merchandise, children’s books, and advertising—blending expressive character design with approachable, playful storytelling.
