Scorchmunk’s teeth have many small indentations, forming a rough surface similar to flint. When the creature rapidly chatters its teeth against wood and nuts, it quickly stokes a fire. In addition to projecting flames from its mouth, it can spit flaming objects over great distances. Scorchmunk also uses nuts as a food source. These nuts are swallowed whole, as opposed to the ones that feed its fire, which are stored in its cheeks.
