Owpul possesses considerable girth for an air creature, but balances it with a mostly hollow torso. The large surface area of its body coupled with its light-weight frame enable its flying ability. The three seed-shaped markings on the creature’s chest are dormant eggs, which can drop off at any time. When this occurs Owpul will immediately land and nest, regardless of the surroundings. These seeds never grow back, so the creature can only produce a maximum of three young in its lifetime. Owpul can remain still for weeks at a time, which is particularly useful when nesting.
