Squrious are born in tree-top nests. They begin their lives as eggs, half of their shells rich in calcium and near indestructible, the other half soft. The soft side is where the creature will hatch, the solid half will remain part of the creature forever. In the winter Squrious dig under their birth tree to keep warm within the protection of its roots.
