Tumblehop’s habitat is an interconnected network of burrows and warrens that lay below the desert. Tumblehops scarcely leave their homes, but if they do it is under the cover of night. Their appearance is defined by the shed exoskeleton of Puug, which it wears atop its head to intimidate predators
