Gallery Nucleus is thrilled to welcome back artist and animator Matt Braly in celebration of the release of the artbook for his hit show, Amphibia! Join us for a live panel with Matt and the book's author, Drew Taylor, as they talk about all things Amphibia.

  • Tickets will be available starting March 18th at 1pm PST. Buy tickets HERE
  • The Q&A will be limited to 130 people in-person at $10 a ticket. Limit 2 tickets per purchase. Any purchase of more than 2 tickets will be automatically refunded.
  • The panel will end at 6:30pm, at which point the panelists will proceed to sign for guests. 
  • Limit 2 items signed per person. Signatures only.
  • No shikishi boards or blank pieces of paper are permitted for signing.

PANELISTS
    Matt Braly is an Annie Award winning Thai/American animator, writer, director, producer, voice actor, and storyboard artist. He is most well-known for creating and showrunning Disney's Amphibia - a cult classic Emmy nominated animated show about three teen girls who get sent to a magical & dangerous world of talking frogs. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, Matt has worked on hits such as Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Mitchells Vs The Machines, and Big City Greens. He is also the author of "Marcy's Journal - a guide to Amphibia" which was released by Tokyopop in 2022. Born and raised in Northern California, Matt studied at California Institute of the Arts before starting his career at Dreamworks SKG in 2010.
    Drew has been covering film, television and theme parks for 15 years. He has written for the New York Times, the New York Daily News, Time Out New York, Collider, The Playlist, Polygon, Vulture, Box Office Magazine, TheWrap and Syfy. He was the executive editor and social media manager for Moviefone before it was purchased by MoviePass. Additionally, Drew co-created and co-hosts “Light the Fuse,” a weekly podcast dedicated to the “Mission: Impossible” film franchise, and "Fine Toothing", a podcast analyzing all things animation. In addition to "The Art of Amphibia", Drew has written "Art and Making of Ultraman: Rising".

    Joe Sparrow is a freelance illustrator, writer, and animator. Born in London, Joe Sparrow soon moved to Cornwall where he grew up, singing in lots of choirs and drawing. He took his Art Foundation at Falmouth University, then moved to London to study Illustration, specializing in animation, at Kingston University. Since he graduated in 2010, Joe has been working mostly on commercial animations, alongside writing and drawing his own self published comics. He has worked for clients including Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Target, Coke, Google, The White House and MTV, and has produced graphic novels with publishers such as Nobrow.

    Ian Worrel is a professional visual development artist and designer in animation. Most notably, he was the art director for Disney's "Gravity Falls" and "Amphibia". He also worked on the series "Ask the Storybots" and the film "The Mitchells vs the Machines". He currently works as a production designer at Netflix Animation.

    ABOUT AMPHIBIA



    Amphibia chronicles the adventures of independent and fearless teen Anne Boonchuy after she is magically transported to a rural marshland full of frog people. Stuck in this fantastical world of amphibians, Anne quickly bonds with the adventurous young frog Sprig Plantar, and discovers the true meaning of friendship. Amphibia's three seasons can be streamed on Disney+.
