"She was twelve years old and haunted by nightmares. It was the neighbors' kid, who would appear in her dreams, chasing her with a knife, threatening to kill her. She told all about it to her father. He then dressed like a seal and waited. Next time the kid attacked, her father strangled him. In waking life, the boy was injured in a car accident that same night. She and her father never mentioned it again."
