The Hanged Man is Sugiura-kun, the zookeeper at Shinjuku Safari Park in the sci-fi fantasy graphic novel Pure Trance (1998). He often gets hung and tortured by Keiko, the director of the Overeaters Treatment Center 102 which he secretly enjoyed.
