I wanted to use gravity to pull you in. So, I tried to make myself brighter, but when I felt you pulling away, I realized I have no control in this space. As much as I want you here with me, to go through the carousel of emotions together in life, I must learn to let you go, so you can do your own thing. As I feel myself burning out facing the deep abyss all alone, her light is still shining, reminding me. This piece is a very personal reminder to myself that even if I feel lonely, I will find my way using her light. Maybe it’ll help me weather the storm, then gravity won’t feel so heavy anymore.
