When considering which aspect of BUNBUN as an artist to emphasize, he wanted to pay homage to the Japanese light novel scene as his background.

Thus, he explored the creation of Otaku merchandise from a different perspective. To create the Otaku T-shirt, he though about incorporating both the functionality of wearing a shirt and the enjoyment of the graphics. He came up with the idea of creating an Ornamental Otaku T-shirt, paying respect to the Otaku culture of treating merchandise as a sacred item.
