I built a room for you in my heart. I change the flowers every week, crack the windows open, let in the sunlight. We watch the rain fall together, fall asleep to the droplets hitting the glass. And I keep the door ajar knowing that someday you might go. 

Because despite the inevitable heartbreak, I still want to care.
