ABOUT J.A.W. COOPER

J.A.W. Cooper was born in England, and grew up in Kenya, Sweden, Ireland, and Southern California. Their parents were evolutionary ecologists so it is no surprise that nature has always been a source of intense fascination for Cooper. Animals and plants become metaphors for psychological phenomena as well as link between our higher selves and our more primal motivations. Cooper currently lives in Portland, Oregon and works as an art director, illustrator and fine artist when they are not off sneaking about in the forest.
