In collaboration with the creative team behind the new art book DUO, Gallery Nucleus is organizing a group exhibition in honor of the book's release! Just like the groundbreaking book, DUO: The Group Exhibition features a fantastic lineup of artists, each paired together to create amazing original artwork that share a common theme, but stand on their own individually.

About DUO:

DUO is a collaborative project of international scope, initiated more than 10 years ago by Gérald Guerlais and Sébastien Mesnard, both illustrators. DUO is also the story of two itinerant notebooks transmitted from hand to hand at the rhythm of encounters: in total, no less than 110 artists took part in this adventure to form 57 exceptional duos. They come from illustration, comics, animation, and have combined their talents to go beyond the distinctions of genres and media and offer you these duos united, for the first time, in a unique work and presented in bilingual version.

The result of this long journey is rich in a diversity of styles and techniques where unbridled, fantastic, enchanting, dreamlike, provocative, poetic or facetious imaginations intermingle. A single theme: sharing. Looking closely at these double pages which respond to each other in an aesthetic language of rare beauty, we see all the virtues of dialogue, respect for otherness, the art of balance, the benefits of creative harmony, the concordance of visions and the necessary reconciliation… More than a work, it is a real work, the fruit of a healthy and inspired emulation that we invite you to discover!
