ABOUT HIROKAZU KOJIMA
Kojima began his career in anime at 23 while freelancing across various industries. His first job was as an in-between animator on Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirou at Studio Kikan, where, despite his inexperience, he was guided by an in-between checker who taught him the ropes. As he grew in the industry, Kojima took on the challenge of animating mecha and effects for Gurren Lagann, pushing himself outside his comfort zone.
Influenced by manga artists who break stories into panels, Kojima has considered drawing his own manga. His favorite anime include Initial D, Natsume’s Book of Friends, Re:ZERO, Neon Genesis Evangelion, A KITE, JIN-ROH, FLCL, and Doukyuusei -Classmates-. He also enjoys manga like HI Score Girl and A White Rose in Bloom.
