Artist Ruan Jia will be flying in from China for his first solo exhibition in the US! He will be signing digital prints as well as original media drawings in the gallery. Ruan will also be teaching an in-person 4 hour painting workshop.

CHARACTER PAINTING WORKSHOP / TICKET DETAILS

Ruan Jia will be doing a short presentation, followed by a live character painting demo. He will be taking requests and questions from the audience and moderator.

Attendees will not need to print out the ticket
Refunds will be allowed if requested no later than August 5th

Workshop attendees will be able to get items signed by Ruan Jia promptly after the workshop

ABOUT RUAN JIA
Born in Fujian, China in 1983, Ruan Jia studied 3D art at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. He began working in the games industry for a Chinese games company the developer of the games NetDragon Websoft Inc, as a digital artist, where he stayed for 10 years. In 2011, he moved to Canada to join ArenaNet. He has also worked at 343 Industries in Seattle, Washington, as a Senior Concept Designer developing the Halo Series. Other game titles he has created concept art for are: World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Hearthstone and Legend of the Cryptids.
