  OPENING RECEPTION / SIGNING FEATURES

  • Katherine's artwork will be on display in the gallery starting August 1 and online August 2

 ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP (in person only)

  • Katherine will share her process for developing an illustration, from the digital planning stage through the final watercolor painting.
  • August 8 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM PT (30 min break in between)
  • $150 per student
  • Limited to 20 students
  • Supplies TBA

  ABOUT THE ARTIST

Katherine Lam is a freelance illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY. Their work has been published in news media publications (The New York Times, New Yorker, The Atlantic, etc), book publishing (Harper Collins, Tor Books, Folio Society, etc), as well as alternative film posters and covers (Criterion Collection, Mondo). Their work uses narrative and concept to communicate feelings and emotions, with a focus on mundanity and surrealism. They love playing around with composition and design, and thinking and talking about the power of art!
