Join Gallery Nucleus in welcoming artist and illustrator Jesse Balmer for a special weekend exhibition celebrating the release of his new art book, IDOLS!  The new book features artwork created between 2018 and 2025, presenting snapshots of untold stories, the people who shape them, and the idols that emerge from their worlds. There will be a signing and a curated selection of original artwork featured in the book on display. We look forward to seeing you there!

  ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jesse Balmer is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles working primarily in animation. He has experience with writing, storyboards, background layouts, character design, prop design and visual development. He also maintains a robust personal art practice where he explores folk art, illustration & photography.  Past clients include Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney, Max, Netflix, Encyclopedia Pictura, Lucky Peach Magazine & The New York Times.
