Gallery Nucleus presents new work by
Justin Gerard. This solo reinterprets J.R.R. Tolkien's literary collection,
The Silmarillion. Published posthumously by Tolkien's son,
The Silmarillion chronicles the creation and history of the acclaimed author's world as well as the events leading up to
The Hobbit and
The Lord of the Rings.
Gerard has meticulously surveyed and selected integral moments within the saga and captures the events through watercolors and drawings. The result is an expansive exhibit, documenting scenes from the beginning of time to the departure of the Elves from Middle-Earth.
