Working under a nickname that represents her full name, MALL (May Ann Lumbang Licudine) is a multimedia artist, uniting paint, inks, resin, paper, washi tape, and a full bag of magic to create beautiful and dreamy illustrations and sculptures. Drawing from folklore of the Philippines, her work invites you to peer through the mists into new, unexplored worlds.
Kristin Kwan is an artist who makes illustrative paintings and drawings. Her work uses elements of fantasy and allegory to explore themes of life, death, and rebirth. She lives with her husband, daughter, and crowd of pets in Lincoln, NE.
When Kristin was growing up her family moved many times, and every new home held mysteries and secrets. She dreamed of hidden stairways that led to unknown attics, or cellars underneath that held forgotten treasures. That low door is still elusive, but when she picks up her pencil or paint brush she can find it for a little while. When she paints she tries to bring some of that magic country back with her.Lorena Alvarez
